WHERE EVERY FISH CAUGHT FIGHTS CANCER

While the angler field for the 7th Annual Casting for Hope Presented by MasterNymph is already full, there are still ways for you to be involved with Casting for Hope's premiere event.

Back in 2012, this event is where Casting for Hope got its start in making life-changing differences for women and families in western North Carolina battling ovarian and other gynecological cancers. You can be a big part of what we do for the women and families in our communities impacted by these diseases by pledging just a cent or two (or more!) to the overall fish count for this event.

On average, 3,600 fish are caught in the April Casting for Hope tournament. So here are some examples of what your pledge for the event could actually do for our families:

  • Your pledge of just $0.01 per fish caught allows Casting for Hope to pay for gas to treatment for a family.
  • Your $0.02 pledge allows Casting for Hope to pay the co-pay for a specialist doctor's visit.
  • Your $0.03 pledge could pay for a month of prescription medications for one of our ladies.
  • Your $0.05 pledge could pay the way for a lady to attend a Casting for Hope retreat!
  • Your $0.10 pledge could pay for a winter's heating for a family.

Anyway you look at it, your contribution to this pledge campaign will make a world of difference in the life of a family battling a gynecological cancer in western North Carolina. We will invoice you in April after the conclusion of the tournament.

In addition to teaming up with the entire field of Casting for Hope anglers to support the total fish count, you can click on any angler below and support him or her specifically in this event.

Casting for Hope is committed to providing limited financial assistance to women in western North Carolina who are living with ovarian or other gynecological cancers. Casting for Hope is a federal 501(c)3 public charity and nonprofit, so your contribution is tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
